Unfortunately, no. All jewellery used must be sterilised before the piercing process. We also can’t guarantee the safety or quality of jewellery brought from home.

You must be at least 16 for most piercings, or 7+ for children’s lobe piercings. ID may be required. See our Piercing Services page for full details.

Not currently, for two reasons. All jewellery we pierce with is pre-sterilised to guarantee hygiene and minimise the risk of infection, and we only use jewellery specifically designed for initial piercings to support safe healing.

Once you're fully healed, you're welcome to switch to any piece you like, including online purchases. Until then, our piercers will happily help you choose the perfect piece in store.

Permanent jewellery refers to custom-fit chains welded directly onto your wrist, ankle or neck — creating a seamless piece without a clasp. It’s a lasting way to mark a moment or connection.

There’s no extra fee for the welding service. You only pay for the jewellery you choose, with prices based on material, chain type and any added charms.

You must be at least 10 years old for permanent jewellery services. ID may be required.

Although it’s designed to be permanent, you can have it removed. We offer free removal services — just get in touch to book.

Yes — all welded pieces come with a one-year warranty. If it breaks within that time, we’ll repair it free of charge. For the first month, we will also cover any loss of your welded jewellery.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express, as well as contactless payments such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Regrettably, we're unable to accept John Lewis Gift Cards.

Booking in advance is recommended, particularly during busy periods, as it guarantees your preferred time. That said, walk-ins are always welcome and we'll do our best to accommodate you whenever availability allows.

Yes. Our studio is located within John Lewis at Highcross Leicester, which is fully wheelchair accessible, with step-free access throughout, lifts and escalators on all levels, and accessible toilets across the centre.

If you need a wheelchair or mobility scooter, these are available free of charge through the Highcross Shopmobility service, located on the Rooftop Car Park level.

Highcross offers 179 accessible parking bays spread across both car parks.
