Everyone’s pain tolerance is different. Most piercings will feel like a sharp pinch followed by a warm sensation which will dissipate after a few minutes. The procedure is quick and any tenderness doesn’t last for long.

Unfortunately, no. All our jewellery has to be sterilised before the piercing process. We also cannot verify the materials of jewellery brought from home, which could risk an allergic reaction.

Certain piercings, such as Daith and Septum piercings, can be pierced with hoops due to the anatomy and location. Other piercings must be pierced with a straight stud to ensure proper healing and to avoid unnecessary issues.

At Tish Lyon, we only pierce with implant grade titanium and 14ct solid gold. For that silver look, you can choose from our mirror polish titanium or white gold options.

We pierce ear lobes from 7 years and up with child and parents I.D. For other piercings such as nose, cartilage and navel, you must be aged 16 with proof of I.D. We challenge 25, so if you are younger, please bring your identification.
