Flatback Studs & Barbells Size Guide

Flatback Studs & Barbells

Flatback Studs & Barbells are made up of a post (bar) and an attachment (decoration). Labrets are commonly used in the ear, lip and nose piercings. It is important to get both the bar length and gauge right.

Thickness (Gauge) of our Flatback Studs & Barbells

NEEDLE PIERCING If your ears were pierced by a professional using the needle method, it is likely you were pierced with 1.2mm jewellery.

PIERCING GUN If your ears were pierced using a piercing gun, it is likely you were pierced with either 0.9mm or 1mm jewellery.

Size (post/bar length) of our Flatback Studs & Barbells

Measured from the flat back or base to the start of the thread/top.

Please note, this guide applies to fully healed piercings only. Everyone’s anatomy is different so please make your own judgement to decide the best fit for you. This is only a guide.
